“We lobbied hard and all we’re asking is to let the free market to decide, let the bar owners and patrons decide whether they want to be a smoking place or a nonsmoking place. That’s the way it should be and that’s the way it’s going now,” says Kawika Crowley, co-chairman of the Hawaii Smokers Alliance and Americans for Freedom of Choice, defined by Pacific Business News as “two pro-smoking advocacy groups” in an attempt to minimize the blow imparted to Tobacco Control. In reality, they should be called pro-liberty and pro-scientific integrity – but that would be too much honour for second-class citizens, who must be made to appear as fighting Fascism and fraud merely on the grounds that they are “smokers”; if they were not, the implication is that they would applaud Fascism and prohibition!
Health Nazi Maui Sen. Roz Baker, D-Kapalua-Makena, who introduced the bill resulting in the anti-smoking law, say that: “Maybe it is time to get some of the folks at organizations like the Coalition for a Tobacco Free Hawaii to do passionate peaceful picketing to make it uncomfortable for these guys. The law is on the books, it’s time to step it up because this is a good public-health policy and we need to have compliance.”
We say: “Maybe it is time to get some of the folks at organizations like the Hawaii Smokers Alliance to do passionate peaceful picketing to make it uncomfortable for antismoking Nazis to promote Fascism and prevarication. When a law on the books is based on a fraud perpetrated by public health authorities, two things must happen: the law is to be disregarded, and the public health authorities must be removed and put in jail.”
It’s THAT simple, and keep on smoking – right in their face!
