The usual suspects are supporting a Proposition to increase the tax on cigarettes by 90 cents per pack. The justification is also the same old tired argument.
It is amazing how everyone has forgotten the Master Tobacco Settlement which has put hundreds of millions into the coffers of every state each year. Smokers also pay for 10 million children’s health care under SCHIP. Just how much are we suppose to pay for?????????
