"Light Up Durham," a "magical weekend," includes celebration of tobacco. Durham, North Carolina offers fun for all including free performances. The festival, evidently sponsored in large part by Big Tobacco, is described in a press release as a family tradition. A celebration of tobacco, put on by collaborators of anti-tobacco, is certainly ironic. We at FORCES hope North Carolinians enjoy the shows and that everyone everywhere lights up or doesn’t exactly as he pleases all year long. Pass on the touted Lucky Strikes though. Fair dealers offer better products at a small fraction of the price. Support your freedom, never Big Tobacco, the Master Settlement Agreement, and vilifying fascists.
