It’s tempting to hum “another one bites the dust,” from Queen’s early 80’s funk/disco hit at the news that the home of the fearsome Vikings now trembles before wisps of tobacco smoke.
Denmark’s foray into New World style prohibition, however, was not greeted by cheers from grateful nonsmokers, as always indifferent to government’s scheme to save them from their friends, neighbors and family. Instead, as our correspondent notes, protests greeted the arrival of the smoking ban and those protests will continue until the secondhand smoke fraud has been wiped off the face of the earth, as it will be.
