The American Civil Liberties Union has produced a map of the "Constitution-free zone" of the United States.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) depicts at link below a map which highlights an area extending 100 miles inward from the perimeter of the USA. This the ACLU designates as a Constitution-free zone. Since two out of every three Americans live within 100 miles of the border, two-thirds of the American people are now outside coverage by the Constitution according to the ACLU.
"The government is assuming extraordinary powers to stop and search individuals within this zone," states the ACLU. The zone includes most of the nation’s largest metropolitan areas.
"Congress must hold hearings on and pass legislation to end these egregious violations of Americans’ civil rights," says the group.
While reading this article, one is reminded of "smoke-free zones," "free-speech zones," and all the other ways we are corralled and herded into a cattle society.
There is some misbegotten truth in the ACLU depiction but never ever rely on that organization to do anything worthwhile. Its idea of freedom is mandatory worship of abortion in a progressively smoker-free global gulag camp, solely administered, by the infallible attorneys of the ACLU.
