The disobedience and revolt of smokers in England has been under-reported by the mass-media as per political script.
To partially compensate for the under-reporting, here is a piece from the Metro.co.uk and here is another from Telegraph.co.uk with the promising title of “Thousands defy smoking ban in mass protest”.
One note for each piece, here. The Metro piece opens with: “England became smoke-free in public places yesterday – but defiant smokers have vowed the battle is not over yet.” Correction: no “yet” involved: the battle for liberty and against fraud is NEVER over – in England or anywhere else in the world. In fact, this is a war for fraud-free health institutions.
The Telegraph reports, in closing, the words of Ian Gilmore, the president of the Royal College of Physicians: “"I am blissfully happy. From a personal point of view, I can now go into any pub without inhaling smoke. And from a professional point of view, it is the culmination of over 40 years of work from doctors. It will save 11,000 lives every year."
Imagine, Ian, when one day this fraud is established in tribunals, the people will discover that those 11,000 lives are an epidemilogical fraud. Now, imagine the consequences – and the punishment! – for those who have perpetrated and promoted such fraud. How happy will you feel then, when those 40 years will be flushed down the toilet, Ian? We are sure that, then, you will prefer to inhale smoke – by leaps and bounds.
There will be a time when fraud and doctors no longer run politics.
Are we dreaming? Perhaps, as the pharmaceutical crooks are very powerful.
But all the greatest achievements of humanity started with a dream: let’s work to make it so.
