A lawsuit was filed in federal court in Indianapolis against Mayor Ballard and the City-County Council over the recent smoking ban in Indianapolis.. Ten bars and two individuals claim the smoking ban violates several of their Constitutional rights, including private property and the right of free association.
Filling in Federal Court will give these bar owners the opportunity to take it to the Supreme Court. We wish them well.
