John Stossel thinks banning smoking outdoors is just nonsense. "Dozens of studies have searched for a connection between secondhand smoke and lung cancer or heart disease. <a href="http://www.gasdetection.com/news2/health_news_digest6.html" target="_blank">Most found none</a>. A few found a small relationship, but only in people who lived with smokers. They were exposed to smoke every day — for years — in homes and cars. To jump from that to assume that whiffs of smoke on a beach are harmful is silly.<br />
