<p align="justify">The economy is doing fine and unemployment is low yet Australians, suffering ennui due to the 12 years of conservative rule, voted decisively for change.</p>

<p>One of the paradoxes of today’s social engineers is that while they constantly invoke science to justify their devious schemes they seriously pine for the days when man was a hunter and gatherer in the Eden before science was born.&nbsp; One of our readers expands on the subject:</p>

<p>With no new real science on the effects of smoking being undertaken for decades the anti smoking movement has for some time manipulated statistics to attack the source of their obsessive hatred; as those decades have passed the levels to which that movement have stooped have got steadily lower.</p>

<p>Elbowing aside yet again actual education, the United Kingdom will devote scarce resources and time to educating school children about the evils of alcohol.</p>

<p align="justify"><span style="font-size: 8pt;"><img vspace="4" hspace="4" align="left" alt="" src="https://www.forces.org/userfiles/video_button.jpg" /></span><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Through the years, smokers have been analysed upside down and inside out because the propaganda says that they are &ldquo;ill&rdquo;, &ldquo;addicted&rdquo; and so on &ndash; but, for some strange reason, the antismoker type has never been seriously analyzed.</span></p>

<p align="justify">A question that was <em>not</em> broached to the Republican candidates on CNN’s November 28th, 2007 YouTube / CNN &quot;Ask a candidate a question&quot; program, which aired for over 2 hours from 8:00 PM, was the question of nationwide&nbsp;tobacco legislation.&nbsp;</p>

<p align="justify"><span style="font-size: 8pt;">The umpteenth &ldquo;public health&rdquo; fraud on passive smoking and heart attack has been exposed, but this will change nothing, and copycat frauds will keep appearing elsewhere, because smoking prohibition has nothing to do with health in the first place. </span></p>
