Over one-out-of-five U.S. voters (22%) say the federal government should outlaw tobacco smoking, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Seventy percent (70%) disagree, and nine percent (9%) are undecided. This is encouraging news! We still need to press forward and get our message out to each individual, or these numbers could flip on us. To our Members and Readers: Thank you for all you do, now is not the time to "give up" or "relax" – our work is effective when done one on one with the public!

And just think, about the same percentage are smokers, so IF 22% could support this state of havoc, our percentage can reverse it if we keep up the good work.
