The fingers of control are reaching out like an octopus into all our lives. Thus a dictatorship becomes worldwide. Less than two decades ago one would have thought it impossible to take our nation’s sovereignty away from us. Now, the United Nations and a multitude of their non government organizations (NGOs) have just that planned and are near in full operation. Yes, tobacco as well as alcohol and foods are on their "nanny" agenda, thus we must remain ever vigilant. We must also move beyond our basic "Rights" arguments if we hope to stop this trend. We need to understand and act according to what is really happening globally, not just locally.
