Libertarian icon and longtime FORCES officer Gian Turci unexpectedly passed away of a brain haemorrhage on Tuesday. Gian was, as ever, thick in the midst of plans and correspondence with FORCES colleagues when overcome. Some more of his own writings will appear along with a formal obituary and other articles of appreciation now being prepared for upcoming editions of this news page.
Gian is a force of nature and an undying inspiration. Those who have read him or listened to him through media over the years surely know of his profound dedication, humanity, humor, and warmth. Those of us who worked with him know better still. We loved him. There is sadness here beyond telling.
