The 2001 Surgeon General Report on active smoking | US Department of Health and Human Services
Article Published: 2001
Type: Official report

Further Information More of the same, but this time women are targeted. Like almost all SRG reports on tobacco use of the last 20 years, this too is a compendium of the of the worst “political” statistical associations – none of them substantiated by hard science – with almost any conceivable disease for social engineering purposes.
Cancer, cardiovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and lung function, sex hormones, thyroid disorders, diabetes mellitus, menstrual function, menopause, body weight, fat distribution, bone density and fracture risk, gastrointestinal disease, arthritis, eye disease, facial wrinkling, depression and other psychiatric disorders, neurologic diseases, and even HIV are "affected" by smoking – negatively, of course.
This document – like so many other “medical” documents of the antitobacco propaganda – has one purpose, and one purpose only: make the public believe that, would smoking disappear, disease in general would be far less frequent, and humanity would be much healthier – a dream and an ideology that cannot be scientifically demonstrated in the least. In fact, still not even one death or disease, after that billions of dollars have been invested world-wide in research on smoking (and diverted from research on cure for disease) in the last 50 years, can be scientifically demonstrated to be caused by this habit.
