Would you invest $100 into something that predictably returns $50, day in and day out? Of course not – but this kind of investment is exactly what “experts” tell us to make in the name of environment and of planetary “health”.

Very much like hydrogen, painted as the fuel of the future, ethanol is an energy fraud, because it takes more energy to produce than it actually yields. That is not an opinion – and no, Exxon is not amongst our sponsors. It is a law of physics – thus real science – that is not open for opinions, as it can be demonstrate anytime, anywhere.

Yet, that does not matter. It does not matter because “public health” says that gasoline kills. It does not matter because environmentalists “want it” for the “health” of the planet, although there is absolutely NO PROOF that fossil fuels are a significant contributor to global warming. It does not matter because it is ideology once again.

In this well-researched article, columnist Edmund Contoski explains to us why ethanol is a net energy loser – not only that, but it drives economies to the ground by being actually anti-environment as it requires, for example, 1,700 gallons of water to produce one gallon of ethanol while creating 6 to 12 gallons of noxious organic effluent. But it does no matter: very much like “smoking kills”, the only thing that matters is ideology, and the fraud we want to believe.

And no, not even Contosky is on the payroll of any industry, although he demonstrates why he disagrees with those who want to believe – both the passive smoking fraud and the global warming one.
